After 50 years of hard work, since the application was filed,
“Sable de Camargue” wines were officially granted AOP status on October 18, 2023.
“Gris” and “Gris de Gris” wines from this exceptional terroir, between sea and ponds, are now recognized for their winegrowing typicity and the unique know-how that accompanies them.
The main grape varieties : Cabernet franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Grenache gris and noir, Carignan noir and gris, Cinsault, Merlot, Aubun and Marselan, for fresh, elegant wines whose color is reminiscent of the Camargue landscape.
Thanks to its partner winegrowers, SUDVIN is present in the heart of this fragile ecosystem, protected by organic vineyards.
