SUDVIN, a committed economic player

5 Aug, 2022 | Worldwide

SUDVIN is a committed economic player, aware of its social responsibility, on the way to energy sobriety.

Shipping wine in bulk reduces CO2 emissions by 40% compared to shipping in bottles.

It also significantly reduces the amount of packaging required and allows our bottling customers to develop bottle recycling alternatives in the consumer countries.

Our wine supplies are preferably made with trucks running on ED95 bioethanol. CO2 emission savings are validated monthly by a decarbonation certificate.

Our tangential filters are programmed to operate automatically at night.

The hot water of the SUDVIN site is produced by solar energy.

The winery is equipped with LED lighting that follows the movements of the operators to light only the work areas when they are present.

We prefer to source from winegrowers and cooperatives committed to good agricultural practices that respect the environment, in particular through the HVE label.

We actively participate in the CORDIER group’s working group on energy sobriety, with ISO 5001 certification as our objective.
